Pain and Power

Remembering can generate both pain and power. August is the month of my youngest son’s birthday. If you’re new to my blog, the son I reference died by suicide in 2007. He was 21, I can’t imagine him any older than that.

Two Years!

This week I celebrate two years of writing and sharing my devotionals, Bible studies, and other occasional tidbits. I would love to give every reader a cupcake to celebrate with me. Since that’s not possible you’ll have to settle for a virtual treat instead.

Prayer Please

My focus in these blog posts has been that you the readers would get to know God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in a deeper, more intimate way. You receive shared glimpses and snippets of my life through these devotionals. That can stir a sense of knowing me on some level.
